Slender's been quiet about this whole thing. Hasn't left any dead proxies around, no innocents running around town screaming about somebody creeping in their windows. I'm pretty sure He was just trying to remind us to stay on our toes about this whole thing. Sandra was absolutely pissed. Ran out after Him with a claw hammer. Ended up on the roof screaming obscenities. Nothing out of the ordinary there.
Rake's been on edge for awhile. He's not afraid of Slender, but he doesn't like for Him to get too close. Other than that, it's been relatively normal around here.
That isn't going to last long, is it.

Sadly I don't imagine it will.
ReplyDeleteWorst comes to worse you may find yourself in the middle of a battlefield when the tension that is building between the Rake and Slender reaches critical mass.
Now may be a good time to try to win over the Rake, to try to see why Slender bothers him so.
Rake and Slender seem to be a bit uneasy around eachother from what I've seen. I theorize that they may be capable of harming each other, which would explain their discomfort around each other. How would you respond to being around one of the only things that can possibly do you any harm. Sandra,I once again petition for your aid in my research, as he may be more cooperative if you ask him for a few test runs. From what we've both seen, he understands curiosity at the very least, and I think he may not know positively everything about himself. I personally don't trust Slendy more than I can throw him, so I'm gonna try and get in contact with the Rake. Wish me luck.

Nothing lasts forever, you know.
ReplyDeleteNothing ever should.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Fatal Tatics, you should do all you can to win Rake to your side; should Slendy go berserk again. Also, I'd look into how He acts around Sandra. It looks to me as if he's growing detached. Maybe He's getting bored? If so, I'd be on the defense, along with Rake-puppy if possible...
ReplyDeleteRake-puppy. You are now our friend, dragongirl.
ReplyDeleteSlender's a lot more demure; He's still a watchdog and keeps her from being a dumbass treeclimbing troublemaker, so I doubt the bored theory.
As far as befriending Rake, it was more of him trying to win Sandra over. They weren't exactly on speaking terms after he cut her arm, but peace has been made. He spends about 70% of his day curled up on a couch/bed with her Stitch doll while she sits on the floor Tumbling and facepalming whenever Rake's hypothetical junk is brought up.

Hey, I got to ask, since this will keep bothering me until I do. Has Slendy ever watched you in the shower. I mean nothing by this, merely trying to figure out what parts of humanity do and do not click with him, in this case the element being modesty. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go clean the blood off myself, mostly my own.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fascinating. I actually hope that your predicament is true, as it would prove so much of my research to be true. If so, please just ask, though I'm not sure how on this blasted thing we can contact each other aside from this. Best of luck on dealing with those two kumksarks.
ReplyDeleteCurse my absent-mindedness, I forgot to mention what to ask me about. I'm a scholar, of sorts, on various things that could be useful concerning the eldritch beings that seem to be drawn especially to you.
ReplyDeleteEldritch. Have not heard that word in awhile. Jack's silence is beginning to worry me. It's all so unfair.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck to everyone.
Sorry about the double post, but it's kind of urgent. Have you seen ///It/// At all lately? We saw him last night. I don't know if he becoming aggressive again, but i would be on guard, just in case.
ReplyDeleteStumpy is right. What have you heard of ///It///? Now I'm not happy about this silence at all. I'd be careful if I were you, Sandra. Remember; the eye's of storms often have the worst weather around them. Start preparing, and keep the puppy close.
ReplyDeleteI know this is random, but I tumble too! :D My username is shavemeinthemorning. Sandra might notice I reblog a lot from her...
ReplyDeleteOn the serious side again, I'm glad she's doing alright
Oh god. We saw him again.he was standing on the side of the road, and seemed to follow us, as soon as he was out of sight, he would appear again on the side of the road. Be careful. Keep each other safe.
ReplyDeleteWell crap, Stumpy. I'm sorry to hear that. D: Be careful
ReplyDeleteLook out your window Sandra. Can you see me? I'll be watching, me and It. We'll both be watching. Sleep tight scary girl.
ReplyDeletehow droll. Arbiter. Your fall to insanity was swift. Your desertion of your cause broke the sound barrier.
ReplyDeleteAnd now you're trying to threaten a girl protected by both the Rake and Slender.
Your self-esteem is enviable.
Well. Another blogger fallen to the dark cause of ///it///. Or maybe it does not even have a cause, but just tends to attract people. What the hell do i know, im just a college student. And no sign of him lately, which is good.
ReplyDeleteThreaten? I may be crazy, but I'm no fool. I merely intend to keep an eye on her. Others will not be as lucky. And perhaps my descent seemed hasty, but what can you expect from a man who was already insane, merely hiding it behind a mask of willpower and chemistry? Make of it what you will, it matters not to me.
ReplyDeletearbiter, you're not very smart are you? Sandra has Rake-puppy and Slender close. Certainly not under her control, but close. You've fallen into the mindless ranks of /Him/, and you'll fall like the rest. Congratulations on the sacrifice of your will. I don't really like Slender much either, but at least Sandra keeps him distracted.
