What Went Down

So the last update before the fight was me grabbing a knife and running outside. That's the point when I started getting nervous we wouldn't be posting anymore. It was insane.

I started ramming the front door, and I guess the chair Matt and Lya wedged against it was rickety as hell because it only took about a minute for it to shatter. I got outside and damn near shat the eastern seaboard.

Slender and ///It/// were having the most intense and furious fight I've ever seen in my life. The static noises were almost a loud as a sonic boom, it was horrible. Matt and Lya were on either side shooting at ///It/// hoping for a distraction to give Slender an edge. Rake was lying on the ground behind Lya nursing what looked like a broken back leg. Finally, ///It/// did get distracted.

By the idiot human girl who stepped out of the safety of the house.

///It/// fucking lunged at me.

Matt and Lya didn't even get a chance to scream before Rake caught up and bit down on ///It///'s hand. I swear I heard a furious roar.

The best part: ///It/// bled.

They bleed.

This foul smelling black liquid starting gushing out. Rake hurt ///It///. I wanted to hug him.

Even moreso when ///It/// ripped him off and flung him at a tree, resulted in a horrific yelp of agony and the snapping of tree limbs and bones. Rake blacked out.

The humans all got pissed.

I threw the knife at ///It///, just barely hitting a shoulder but leaving not even a minor scratch.

Slender picked it up and flung the knife at ///It///'s head. Hit square between where the eyes would be, set off another waterfall of Eldy blood. It was serious, but apparently not fatal, because ///It/// still tackled Slender and started tearing into Him. He pulled out the knife and began stabbing. ///It/// finally got the hint that we were far from playing around and now knew that ///It/// could be hurt, and darted off.

No humans were hurt, but Rake had several snapped ribs and a broken leg, and Slender's suit was ripped to pieces revealing several oozing gashes. We made a stretcher out of bed sheets to carry in Rake while Slender stayed outside waiting for the wounds to close up and wash Himself off.

We treated Rake, got him all wrapped up, then went outside to get some samples of the blood.

Good God the smell of it. Like old copper and gasoline. And it was ink black. But other than that, almost exactly like human blood. Warm, slightly slick, easily washed out of the grass with the hose. The grass where it was didn't die, and it didn't leave ugly stains. It was disturbing how similar it was to normal blood.

Rake has been sleeping on the couch. I brought out my fishbowl and sat it on the end table so he can watch Pudge swim. He likes watching him swim. He'll be okay. We know that now, but last night we were panicking. He jumped in to save me and got fucked up for it.

Good zombie puppy. Best zombie puppy.

Slender's wounds closed up in less than an hour and He came out of the guest room a few minutes ago in a brand new suit. Red tie today.

They bleed, guys. Human weapons in the hands of Eldys can make others bleed.

  1. They bleed. Damnit! Albus has already gone off looking for ///It///, and we have no idea where he went. Im worried. I hope the rake is feeling better.

  2. See, the Rake-puppy is you best buddy Sandra! Keep him around! And it's good to know that they bleed...

  3. Glad the Rake's gonna be okay. And it's not just other Eldy's that can harm eachother. Under certain circumstances, so can proxies. Just ask your tall houseguest.

  4. Hmm... Interesting tale. Nice to see The Rake will be fine. Let us do the fandango to celebrate!

  5. Okay, I take back what I said the other day. I hope he doesn't die, too...as long as it stays the hell away from me...

Also, would Pudge happen to be named after the fish in Lilo and Stitch? And if so, do you feed it peanut butter sandwiches?

  6. Glad it helped you, but that doesn't mean I like the Rake. And the rest of you need to realize, Sandra and them have a very, very unique thing with Slendy and the Rake. The rest of us are in are in no way safe from them. And don't tell me "Yeah we know" No, I can tell you're all becoming less weary of them. I like a lot of you, and it would be a shame to see one of you die because you let your guard down. It's nice to see that they have weaknesses, and other sides to them, but they will still try to kill us. You can all choose to ignore me if you all want, I don't care, I'm just trying to keep as many people alive as I can.

On the upside, at least she seems be be keeping them tethered to that area. It's gotten so good I've been thinking about actually stopping my running for a little while, since I haven't even seen Slendy for a couple months.

That is a very, very bad idea. It's kind of hard to tether things that can telleport when we're not looking.

  9. So Breaks can bleed. I almost wish you kept a sample of the blood. Learning some of its properties would answer some questions, like the gasoline smell. Could the blood be flammable? Is that how 'Slender' starts fires? And the extent that the Break's influence matters. Would a trap crafted by 'Slender' work, or could he set a number of mousetraps? If not, could 'Slender' operate firearms? This is something to look into, and you're in an opportune position to do so.

  10. I'm glad everyone's ok. Give Rake me love and tell him thank you from me. Be Safe you guys. Peace.

  11. Ah, but you miss the genius of it. Ola'asu and an M16 is powerless against bulletproof glass windows and Kevlar. Admittedly, Ola'asu's own appendages could destroy said Kevlar, but I was thinking of ways to get rid of the greater of our two evils.

  12. I like to think ///It/// is Slendy's older, dick, assholish brother.

  14. Well, that's a plan yet to be made. I believe I'm allowed to be biased, seeing as a certain Break is on the roof of my house right now, and no it isn't Ola'asu or Rake. Also, I've confirmed for myself that the Operator Symbol and the Corrupted Operator Symbol don't affect it, not even the stone "Sun Cross" one of my pagan friends gave me [For reference, a Sun Cross is this: (+)]. Actually, none of my collection of warding symbols and such have had any noticeable effect on it, yet he hasn't attempted to come in. I will need to post further details later. However, if Ola'asu could kill "It", the Runners as a whole would be safer. Always remember, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

  15. Hey, I read on your Tumblr everybody's favorite monster dog finaly woke up. Thought I should give the news to those of us who don't wander those vast, confusing plains.

  16. That is good to hear. I suppose that means I have no reason the think that I did anything to harm him. I am relieved then. At the same time, though, that means that my experiment was most likely a failure. Ah well.

  17. Lya and company, meet Prophet, a recently freed subject of 'It'. There is a possible third Break wandering about, but it seems benign, possibly even on our side, more information pending.

  18. Sandra:

I'm glad that things are turning better for you...or at least you're able to get a handle on the situation. But with ///IT/// having backed off for the time being due to the asswhuppin'...I think ///IT/// might be trying to spread it's reach while everyone's licking their wounds. I'm up in Chicago, and we've got a notice from my campus alerting students to be on the look out for "vagrants in spraypainted masks." It sounds like a bad joke, but...Christ, I really hope that's all it is. I'm keeping to my own damn self.
