Heading Out

We're leaving for OK tomorrow. Which sucks, because I'm sick. Not Slendy-sickness, just some sinus bullshit.

And for those who asked about pics of the plushies, sorry, but Slender keeps taking our cameras and screwing around with them. In hindsight, maybe letting Him watch Fatal Frame wasn't such a good idea...Oh well. Watching Him get startled is kinda reassuring. And funny as hell.

Also...anybody else see Concrete Giraffes? Because that shit is hilarious.

HAI GAIZ.
lol Slender in a pink tank...

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to waste my life on Tropes and SCPs.

Skål!

  1. Screwing around with the cameras how? D8

And, has He seen CG yet?

  2. Heh, I wonder what Slender Man would think of Splendor Man...

  3. He doesn't seem to realize that taking pictures underwater isn't such a good idea. Dumbass.

He seemed to like Splendor Man. We had to lock up our glitter for a few days, but the flowers He brought in were kinda nice.

And He left a note on the board about what He thought of Concrete Giraffes:

    "Pinkisnotmycolor.
    AndhowthehellcanIwearearringswithnoears.
    ButIlikethesunglasses."

He's been wearing Matt's sunglasses for awhile now. I think Preston doesn't like that, though, since he keeps trying to run off with them. (And don't ask how He's wearing them without ears or a nose, I dun get it.)

  4. XD Now the mental image of Him wearing the sunglasses and playing with the camera needs to be drawn!

  6. Oh my how cute~ I probably shouldn't say that about Him but I can't help myself. Playing with cameras and wearing sunglasses. Silly Slendy~ X3

  9. I have just read through all of this blog, and I find it extremely intriguing. I hope to be posting more, on this blog and others.

  10. Well, they do say the shades make the Man. Also, pink is most certainly not his color. Face-to-face (terror aside) he seems more an earth tones kinda guy.

  11. In Santas defense, though, in original German folklore, he didn't have any pets at all afaik. Only maybe a vehicle connected to the number eight and being able to move everywhere. Because it's a strange coincidence that his expy Odin had an eight-legged horse able to walk on air and enter and leave the kingdom of Hel (death, essentially) and Santa Clause owns a sled with eight reindeers that is able to fly and travel around the whole world in one night.

It just occured to me that Slender Man, often confused for a spider-like being having multiple limbs, could be said vehicle/pet rebelling against it's master.
I'm mostly joking there. Although even German kids may see Santa Clause, but *not the sled*, which would match the "only while you don't observe"-rule quite well...

Jokes aside, please take care, Sandra. A doctor won't heal a dead child, so you really have to be careful.

Also sorry for my last comment. I can't believe that I didn't notice all your comments about my theory before. I guess I'm simply getting senile..

  12. Did you read anything you just posted, Broeckchen? You're just as sharp as ever. Although you maybe do overthink things juuuust a little.... ;)

And this is...strange. I mean, he seems so affable towards you guys. And yet he still kills people. Frequently. It's...kind of unsettling.

  13. Heh. I told you... I draw connections between almost everything and everything else.

What has me thinking the most is that He doesn't hurt Sandra because He "has no effect on her". Meanwhile He *has* targeted Zeke and tried to take him down, although or even because He had little to no effect on Zeke directly. It's kind of contradicting and that makes me think about Omegas theories to His behaviour a lot. ( http://slenderia.blogspot.com/2010/10/inconsistent-behavior-scared-and.html )

  14. I disagree - Slenderman affected Zeke quite a lot when he finally targetted him directly. Only instead of the regular fear response, Zeke's reaction was an aggressive one.
Sandra does not provide any "normal" response to Slendy's stalking/influence, thus his interest.

  15. I see... yes, that sounds rational.
Also I just remembered that He didn't attack Zeke directly either until Zeke was freaked out by what happened to Elizabeth. That was the moment he cracked and the moment Slender Man began to approach him personally.

  16. He's probably going to torture me for saying this, but- Slender Man around Sandra is one of the sweetest things I've heard of. Sandra, can you tell Him I said hi?

  17. Slender also showed up in LittleKuriboh's Christmas special. Apparently he was there at the birth of Christ...of course, Kiba, Yami, the Espa Robas, etc were also there, but still!
